2005 1st Shenzhen Biennale of Urbanism\ Architecture
Exhibition Period: December 10th 2005 – March 10th 2006
The Shenzhen City Government is the sponsor of the first biennale of Urbanism & Architecture that is organized by Shenzhen Planning Bureau, Shenzhen Cultural Affairs Bureau, Shenzhen University, Shenzhen Press Group and Shenzhen Media Group.
The Biennale is curated by the Independent Curator Yung HO Chang , the Founder of Atelier Feichang Jianzhu that is probably one of the first International Mainland Chinese studio based in Beijing that has been exhibited in PS1, in the Center Georges Pompidou, etc.
Several Locations in Shenzhen as the OCT Contemporary Art Center and also Factory warehouses will be open during 3 Months to show architecture and Urban Projects of Architects like Cui Kai, Xi Qin, Wang Shu, Michael Bell, Rem Koolhaas, etc.
