MIT MediaLab / Smart Cities
Smart Cities is one of the Research Department of the MIT MediaLab, Led by William J.Mitchell also the author of Me++, E-Topia and City of bits published at MIT Press.
Smart Cities is a Laboratory that explores the physical, the real and the virtual relations between human, their environments and new technologies.Design Process and Parametric Design are both developped as strategical tools to define new Infrastructures.
Following these research, we have to precise that William J. Mitchell has published a New Book 'Placing Words,Symbols-Space & the City' where the complex flow of Information and Communication re-define the urban places and the Meaning of the Cities.
